Cold-Pressed with Care

The Taste of the Season – Straight from the Farm
At BAR DJUS, we’re all about naturally cold-pressed juice crafted from the finest organic and conventional citrus fruits and ginger. We source our produce directly from the farm, strictly following the seasons. Why? Because a sun-ripened lemon, picked at its peak, packs a punch that an off-season one simply can’t match. It’s all about capturing that incredible, vibrant flavour at its absolute best.

For us, great taste and a clear conscience go hand in hand. We’re committed to sustainability at every stage of PRODUKTERion, constantly refining our processes to reduce our footprint. It’s a journey of continuous improvement, ensuring we look after the planet while delivering the juice you love.

2. Grade Fruit

At BAR DJUS, we prioritize grade 2 fruit – often overlooked for its appearance, yet equal in quality on the inside.

BIO WASTE

Our fruit by-PRODUKTERs are repurposed by other producers or transformed into CO₂-neutral biofuel.

RECYCLED PACKAGING

Our bottles are made from highly recyclable plastic and are part of a deposit return system. All wood and packaging materials are reused or recycled.

SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORT

All our fruit is transported by truck and sea to Denmark – with no air transport at any stage.

A Circular Approach Together with Our Customers

After pressing, we work to make the most of every citrus fruit. Citrus peels and other by-products can be repurposed in new ways in collaboration with gastronomic professionals and producers. For example, yuzu peels are used in professional kitchens for marinades and sauces, while lemon peels can be used for pickling, fermentation, or as a garnish in cocktails. Some of the remaining citrus peels are used in other productions or for energy purposes, such as biogas. In this way, we aim to make the most of every citrus fruit we work with.

Frozen Freshness – with Respect for Resources

At BAR DJUS, we produce in rhythm with nature. Our citrus is harvested in season, when the fruit reaches its peak in flavor and quality. Instead of treating the juice with heat, we freeze it immediately after pressing – a method that preserves its natural freshness while reducing waste. By freezing the juice, we extend the shelf life of a clean, unprocessed product. This means fewer transport requirements, less waste, and no need for artificial additives. In short: we make better use of our raw materials, produce less frequently, and ensure that nothing is lost between harvest and serving.
