SUSTAINABILITY
BARDJUS is naturally cold-pressed juice from organic & conventional citrus fruits and ginger. We carefully pick out our fruits according to season. The best lemons are from Sicily and we are getting our ginger from Peru. By getting our fruits according to season, we always achieve the best quality. There is a big different in the taste of a lemon harvested in its season versus out of season.
Sustainability is something we continuously improve on every day and it is important to us to consider the environment in all processes.
SECOND SORTING MATERIALS
At BARDJUS we focus on purchasing raw materials of second sort. Fruits that are normally not sold in the stores, due to a “ugly” exterior, but has an inside of the same high quality.
BIO WASTE
Our fruit waste is used by other producers or gets converted to biofuels, which is co2 neutral.
SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING
Our bottles are made of the type of plastic that can be recycled most times and are deposit marked. All tree and packaging is recycled.
ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY TRANSPORT
All of out fruits are transported by truck and sailed to Denmark. No flights underway.
